Friends of the Fairgrounds Foundation
The
Friends of the Fairgrounds Foundation, Inc. (Friends Foundation), a non-profit
501(c)(3) corporation, was organized to support Expo Square in its commitment
to provide the finest in facilities and services to the Tulsa community and its surrounding
counties. We assist in efforts to
expand Expo Square event participation and are responsible for developing financial
support benefiting Expo Square specific projects and the people it serves.
Our vision includes but is not limited to the creation of an endowment to assist
in providing support and chosen economic enhancements to Expo Square.
Our mission is to support the development of Expo Square by increasing public awareness of Expo Square's economic contribution and by providing educational, cultural and charitable programs, benefits, services and facilities.

Foundation Announcements
The Foundation has moved and has relocated to the old Security Building. It is now The Friends of the Fairgrounds Foundation / Expo Square Security building.
Aubrey the Executive Director is expecting her third child -it's a "GIRL" and she is due April of 2010!
Peg has recovered from her fouth back surger and is doing just fine.

Mark your calendar for “Fair food, fun, music and dancing” for Friday, September 10, 2010 in the beautiful Expo Square Pavilion from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. Enjoy many unique live and silent auction items along with authentic fair food, fair fun and dancing to the Fabulous Mid Life Crisis Band.
Your contribution will help to provide needed funds for worthwhile projects, you will also receive a tax deductible benefit and your donation will receive recognition at the event and our website. The 2009 Fair Kick-Off Party
Raised $132,000 at the "Magic at the FAIR" at the 8th Annual Fair Kick-Off Party. 2009 contributions funded various improvements in the “Just for Kids Building” (safe, kid-friendly flooring, Legos, children seating & toddler toys), a new Ramp for the Pavilion, a new multi-use portable Stage and an interactive youth Fishing Exhibit at the 2009 Tulsa State Fair.
The 2008 Fair Kick-Off Party
Raised over $180,000 at the “Then & Now” Re-Discover Expo Square at the 7th Annual Fair Kick-Off Party. 2008's contributions benefited Youth Agriculture Educational Tour Programs for the “Fun on the Farm” and the Livestock Complex as well as the relocation of the Pavilion Box Office Signage for directional assistance and utility installation for the QuikTrip Center Food Court.
