"I just wanted to let you know how helpful the General Store stand was at the fair! I was a little worried with all the changes this year that it may have been one of the stands taken out and thankfully it was not. I depend on it every year for either water or medicine (it seems like someone in my family needs some kind of medicine every year, while we are at the fair). Anyways, thanks again and I hope to see if again next year. Take care."

Thanks to our many volunteers with their helpful smiles are what keeps the Foundation running it's Souvenir Shop / General Store smoothly at the Fair. Our Volunteers donate their time and energy by helping sell convenience products, souvenirs and bottled water:
By utilizing volunteer workers, sales become more profitable, which allows the Foundation to put more profits toward renovation projects rather than expenses. All volunteers work in four-hour shifts with a staff member present. Volunteers receive a complimentary admission ticket for each day they work. For more information about the Foundation's and its other fund-raising programs or how you can help by volunteering your time please email samantha@friendsfdn.com .
